“Bold Beginnings was the first performance work we made at BOLD Elephant. While we were not permitted to physically invite audiences into the building because of the pandemic, we made these pieces to take audiences on a remote adventure inside it. Starting by commissioning seven artists alongside the BOLD Company to conceive and create a performance inspired by the building and neighbourhood of Elephant & Castle that surrounds us; Seven films were created and filmed by the brilliant Tea Films. This was a unique and inspiring collaboration with exceptional theatre makers. They are here for you to watch and enjoy free of charge. We want them to be seen by as many people as possible so please spread the word.”
