All are waiting for you. Witty, serious, intimate and celebratory. What They Forgot To Tell Us (And Other Stories) is a promenade production, spread across three floors revealing the truths that hide in the stories we tell and reminding us that everything connects.
Devised & performed by the BOLD company. This was BOLD THEATRE’S debut production, performed in promenade over 3 floors at BOLD Elephant in Autumn 2021. A funny, intimate and moving celebration of human endeavour, full of courageous characters and incredible stories.

BOLD Beginnings
“Bold Beginnings was the first performance work we made at BOLD Elephant. While we were not permitted to physically invite audiences into the building because of the pandemic, we made these pieces to take audiences on a remote adventure inside it. Starting by commissioning seven artists alongside the BOLD Company to conceive and create a performance inspired by the building and neighbourhood of Elephant & Castle that surrounds us; Seven films were created and filmed by the brilliant Tea Films. This was a unique and inspiring collaboration with exceptional theatre makers.They are here for you to watch and enjoy free of charge . We want them to be seen by as many people as possible so please spread the word.”
